Am I supposed to do an "About Me" thing here?
My name is D.B., and I'm a 17-year-old upcoming senior in highschool. I do everything [/exercise my control issues frequently.]
I don't know what my label would be. I hang out with every group; I refer to myself as a floater of sorts. Bandies, nerds, art kids, drama kids, xc runners, football players, soccer players, tennis players, etc have been known to associate with me from time to time.

I spend all of my time at band practice [Go piccolos!], knitting/crocheting/sewing, or running the various school organizations that I've taken over. [bwahahaha.] Right now, the biggest focus in my [er..my mom's] life is getting me into a good engineering college. Gotta love it.

1.) Why do you blog?
I always have random observations, and my friends aren’t always readily available to discuss them with [or just don’t want to listen to me anymore. (;], so I figured that I would just start writing online. Also, I love computer stuff and design, so that is an upside to it as well.

2.) What do you blog about?
Whatever I feel like. I just started, but I get the feeling that the majority of the posts that I do will end up being about what I’m reading, or what I’m knitting/crocheting/sewing, or band stuff. Whatever comes to mind when I pick up the computer.

3.) What do you find to be the biggest reward you get from blogging?
It forces me to think not not turn into the vegetable that all of us do during summer break. Besides, there’s a freedom to it. You aren’t afraid of embarrassing yourself or offending those of us around you.

4.) How long have you been blogging?
On and off for a few years. I used to have one that was basically a diary that got me through some rough times. I still have a separate advice site along with this one. This one is fairly new though.

5.) Let's hear the story behind your blog title! :)
Earlier, I said that blogging gave me a feeling of freedom. In my mind, dancing is the epitome of freedom. You lose yourself in the music and the emotion of the moment. You’re only truly dancing when you let go of your inhibitions and worries. Plus, I’m a dancing fool. :)
